Marathon was a Swiss brand known for producing robust, practical watches while often relying on proven Swiss ébauches and respected movement makers. This watch is fitted with the Bidynator Cal. 693—an early automatic caliber notable for its bi-directional winding capability, allowing the rotor to wind the mainspring in both directions of rotation.
